Heliocos titanium bases are designed for the CAD / CAM process chain. They are intended for use with the Heliocos scan bodies. All titanium bases are made of titanium grade 5 (DIN EN ISO 5832-3).

There are titanium bases with and without an index. Titanium bases with an index cannot be rotated in the implant system, so they indicate a direction. Titanium bases without an index can rotate in the implant. They are used for the construction of bridges and footbridges.

Heliocos offers you titanium bases with two different chimney heights. The short titanium bases have a chimney length of 4 mm and the long titanium bases have a chimney length of 5.5 mm.

Both titanium bases have a small recess at the top that is intended for an angled instrument.

The great advantage of the Heliocos titanium bases are the two parallel surfaces that ensure retention. Since the titanium bases have no corners on the chimney, the risk of one-sided loading of the zirconium crown is significantly reduced.
